ACCOUNTING

To provide Tribal Council, State and Federal agencies and other interested federal agencies with accurate and timely financial services and management information while assuring compliance with related statutes and rules; to maintain efficient accounting systems and controls which demonstrate accountability and effective stewardship of The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas entities’ resources,  to maintain and improve the entities automated financial systems; and to provide for the safeguarding of the Tribal Government assets. This office also provides timely, useful information and services to all constituencies including, but not limited to, general ledger account reconciliations, vendor payments, agency fund accounts maintenance and financial analyses. In addition, staff works with department directors, Tribal Council, & Tribal Administrator to resolve accounting issues.
