Position: Construction Site Supervisor
Supervisor: Construction Manager
Division: Reservation Services Administration
Department: Public Works
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain a safe, productive work environment for all on-site workers. Maintain quality control throughout the project. Ensure that projects are on schedule. Track paperwork and documentation. Maintain daily records and weekly reports. Construction workers as needed.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Supervising and instruction the construction team as well as subcontractors.
- Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
- Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
- Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
- Evaluating the performance of construction methods.
- Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
- Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Education/experience requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, High school diploma or graduation equivalent diploma (GED) or related field. 8 + years proven experience supervising multiple projects, including new and remodeled construction.
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual and Previous work-related experience is a must.
