Position:                              Student Services Casework-Advocate (CW-PS)

Supervisor:                         Tribal Student Services Director or Designee

Division:                             Tribal Academic and Human Services Administration

Department:                        Tribal Student Services

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the oversight of the Adult Education program for all Kickapoo Life Long Learners. Student Services Casework – Advocate (CW- PS) is responsible for scheduling, planning, and program coordination for all services designated under the Adult Education/GED Program, as assigned by supervisor.

Education/experience requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling, Social Services, Psychology, Sociology, Business Management, or other related field.

2 years experience in Counseling or education or 2 years experience working with students in an instructional setting, (preferably  GED/adult education students).

Minimum 2 years management experience, Minimum of 2 years in leadership role

 Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Education, or Social Science related field such as Social work, Counseling, Mathematics, or English.
