Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is responsible to lead the successful execution of the Economic Development Projects from inception to completion. The Project Manger must have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met with excellence and efficiency.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, making the necessary adjustments to ensure project goals are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, requirements, and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPI), and provide regular status updates to the Economic Development Committee, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Conduct comprehensive project risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address potential issues to ensure project success.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies, promoting efficiency and excellence in project execution.
- Perform all other activities and functions necessary to carry out the duties and functions assigned to the Committee by Council.

Supervision exercised:
This position does not carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Education/experience requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent hands-on project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) years or more of business development/management experience
