The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Community Health Center is seeking contract health and human services professionals to join a Covid-19 response unit for the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas. Contractors will be assigned to assist clinic and foster home personnel in providing personal care to patients and members. Contractors must be able to perform such procedures and treatments as assigned. Contractors will also perform other duties associated with the activities of daily living of the patients or members. All contractors must deliver care with an emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. These positions contribute to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for staff, physicians, volunteers, learners, patients and families.

Health Care Contractors will provide care to patients of all ages under the supervision of the Provider or Registered Nurse.
Contractors must provide proof of licensing and or certification, resume and references as required and applicable for position. Must have valid CPR and First Aide Certifications.
Communicate effectively and provide compassionate care.
Cooperate as a member of a health care team of fellow healthcare providers, staff, foster care children, elders and other vulnerable populations who may require support due to Coronavirus.
Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years nursing or care experience in public health, childcare, eldercare, foster home, or community health or outpatient setting preferred.
The employee will regularly work with patients with Covid-19.
Employee works in a setting with exposure to communicable diseases; employee is expected to adhere to safety standards, including appropriate vaccinations, to mitigate risk of exposure.
The work environment can occasionally be stressful.
