Position: Project Coordinator
Supervisor: Housing Director
Division: Tribal Reservation Services Administration
Department: Housing Department
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, is responsible for assisting in the implementation, coordination, and continuous review of various projects and services. Is responsible for coordinating and conducting contract initiation, monitoring or compliance activities, in accordance with the contracting policies and procedures. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment with frequent visits to work sites.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Interprets program guidelines regarding contract requirements, and other policies and procedures.
- May conduct periodic visits to work sites and/or departments. Prepares written reports of observations on the quality of services and program management.
- Receives, reviews, coordinates, and replies to correspondence.
- Participates with agencies and department programs in recognizing operational problems; assists in making required adjustments; and promotes program innovation.
- May assign, evaluate, and monitor completion of tasks.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
- Implements the practices and procedures established for contract initiation, monitoring, or compliance.
- Performs initiation, monitoring, or compliance activities for KTTT contracts.
- Prepares detailed written reports and presentations regarding contracting projects.
- Preforms special reviews, projects and programs
- Prepares Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQ’s)
- Provides technical assistance and direction regarding contract compliance.
- Provides staff support as required for special projects
- Provides direction to staff regarding improvements to contracting procedures.
- Gives direction regarding contract compliance issues and related matters.
- Develops contract compliance work plans and objectives.
- Conducts presentations regarding contracting projects.
- Perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.
Education/experience requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Three (3) years increasingly responsible experience in contract management, preparation or compliance.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
