Responsibilities

As a member of the KGC Licensing Department, the Licensing Audit Specialist is responsible for reviewing licensing files for needed updates, completing projects related to licensing as assigned, communicate findings of routine reviews, and assist in the development of processes for file audits as regulatory obligations change. Will perform routine administrative program support, and routine licensing and permitting work as assigned. Must be willing to become knowledgeable of and then be in compliance with the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), National Indian Gaming Commission Regulations (NIGC), Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas (KTTT) Gaming Ordinance and other applicable licensing laws and regulations. Assist the Licensing Department in completing all licensing functions to include conducting background investigation dealing with but not limited to, employment and character reference verification, credit check and criminal history.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or graduation equivalent diploma (GED)
College course work in general office practices, data processing, and criminal justice or other related field helpful.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual skills preferred.
Two (2) Four (4) years’ of gaming experience with prior regulatory, law enforcement or investigative experience is desired.
