Responsibilities:
To manage projects and perform other duties for the Tribe as assigned by the Tribal Council, as provided in the By-Laws of KTTT Economic Development Committee.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Manage projects, including but not limited to:
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, (ii) receiving reports, (iii) making inspections, (iv) performing investigations, (v) reporting and escalating matters to Council as needed, and (vi) undertaking all other activities necessary to ensure that projects assigned to the Committee by Council are carried out.
- Hire employees and retain consultants, with the approval of Council, to assist the Committee with its performance of the duties assigned to it by Council.
- Plan and administer a budget for its assigned actives.
- Perform all other activities and functions necessary to carry out the duties and functions assigned to the Committee by Council.

Supervision exercised:
This position does not carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Education/experience requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous work-related experience is preferred.

Must be an enrolled member of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas. KTTT recognizes preference for KTTT tribal members and qualified Native American tribal members including preferential treatment in recruitment, hiring, promotions, layoffs and reductions in force so long as they meet minimum job qualifications.
