A. REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Hunter must have a Tribal ID card at all times while hunting.
  2. Must hold a valid hunting license under Texas Parks and Wildlife Code Section 42.002
    (must be on your person during hunting). Hunters born before September 02, 1971 may
    be exempt from hunter’s education course.
  3. All hunters born on or after September 02, 1971, must have successfully completed
    a hunter’s education course.a) A one-time deferral of said course may be purchased for $10 by all hunters,
    17 years of age and older, who have not completed hunter education, but must be
    accompanied by an individual who is at least 17, who is licensed to hunt in Texas,
    who has successfully passed hunter education or is exempt (born before September 02, 1971),
    and must be in normal voice control range (deferral must be kept on the person while hunting).

B. RULES AND CONDITIONS:
  1. Notify Spofford Ranch Department of the intent to hunt at least 24 hours in advance.a) Once approved to hunt, all hunters must carry at all times the following:

    i) Proper identification;
    ii) Texas hunting permit;
    iii) Approved hunting form; and
    iv) All hunters must carry White-Tailed Deer tags. Only 5 tags per year permitted.

    b) Hunter must notify Spofford Ranch Director once they leave the property.

  2. White-tailed deer may not be hunted with rim fire ammunition of any caliber
    (e.g., .22LR, .22WMR).
  3. NO NIGHT/SPOT LIGHT HUNTING.
  4. After a deer is harvested and before the deer is field dressed or moved, the
    appropriate hunting license tag must be immediately filled out and dates cut out.
  5. Members may not hunt antler-less white-tailed deer outside an open hunting season in a
    chronic wasting disease containment or surveillance zone, as determined by the Texas
    Parks and Wildlife Department, and may not receive a pecuniary gain from an action
    taken under this subsection.
  6. Parent and guardian of minor children potential hunters are responsible for ensuring
    compliance with Section 61.021 for their minor and for the safety and wellbeing of
    the minor during hunting.
  7. RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION
    Hunter must acknowledge and agree that he or she has read, understood, and will abide
    by the attached agreement at all times.

BY SIGNING BELOW, I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE COMPLIED WITH THE REQUIREMENTS HERE AND
THAT I UNDERSTAND THE RULES AND CONDITIONS OF THIS FORM. I ACKNOWLEDGE AND
AGREE TO COMPLY WITH TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE CODE SECTION 42.002 AND SECTION
61.021 AS WELL AS ANY OTHER LAW OF THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT THAT
MAY PERTAIN TO HUNTING DEER.

THE KTTT SPOFFORD RANCH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY FUTURE HUNTING PRIVILEGES
TO ANY HUNTER FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAW OR RULES.
